While pregnant, the increasing pressure on your abdomen can force stomach acid up into the esophagus. Antacids can assist in neutralising the acid. Get advice from your doctor or pharmacist to recommend a brand.


Eat almonds regularly.  Nuts contain chemical compounds which keep stomach acid in the stomach by strengthening the valve between the stomach and esophagus.
